Privacy policy
Last updated 2026. Plain language; the short version is that we keep as little as we can.
What we collect
Search text. The words you type are used to run the search. Recent searches, saved pieces, your wardrobe and your style profile are stored in your browser only, until you create an account.
Contact. If you write to us, we keep your name, email and message to reply.
Usage data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) kept for security and to keep the service running, for up to 30 days. Clicks through to a retailer are counted per piece, not per person.
What we don't do
- We don't sell personal data.
- We don't run third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
- We don't take payment; the retailer does, under their own policy.
Retailer links
Links to retailers may carry an affiliate tag so the retailer knows the visit came from Moda. The retailer's privacy policy applies once you're on their site.
Photographs you send
Style me takes a picture of you. It is uploaded straight to private storage under your identity on this device (or your account, once you have one), encrypted with a key only the stylist can use, and read by the model that advises you. It is kept so that a returning shopper's stylist starts from what it already knows, and deleted one year after it was last used, or at once when you ask on your account page. It is never shown to anyone else, not even to the people who run Moda, who see only how many photos exist. It is never used to train models and never served from a public address.
The models are run by Amazon Bedrock inside our own cloud account; the image is processed there and not retained by the model provider. Please do not send a photograph of anyone who has not agreed to it.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to processing, by writing to privacy@imoda.ai. We answer within 30 days. Residents of the EU/UK and California have additional rights under GDPR and the CCPA, which we honour.
Cookies
Moda uses only strictly necessary storage: your browser's local storage for saved pieces, your wardrobe, your style profile and recent searches, and a device identifier so your searches can be told apart from everyone else's. No consent banner is needed because nothing optional is set.
Changes
We'll post changes here and update the date above. Material changes will be announced on the home page.
